Bram de Haas

Bram de Haas - Secretary

Hi! My name is Bram, I'm 22 years old and a fourth-year Information Science student. I've been part of the association for quite a while now and served on several committees before taking on a board year. I started out in the BaCo, after which I quickly moved into organizing trips with the AirCo and the WiSpo. In my free time I like going on trips with my girlfriend, tinkering with the most obscure projects, and every year I organize Summer Sports Week, a sports camp for more than 250 primary school children.

Within the board I hold the position of Secretary. As secretary, I'm the first point of contact for other associations and organizations. I manage all of Sticky's mail and correspondence and take minutes at all meetings. I'm also responsible for the association's archive and membership administration.

Jari van Polen

Jari van Polen - Commisioner of Educational Affairs

Hi! I’m Jari, 23 years old, and a fourth-year Information Science student.

I’ve been active at Sticky for just over two years now. Last year, I served on the AirCo, SportCo, and KoCo committees. Before I started college, I was a competitive athlete on one of the Dutch junior national short track teams. When I stopped competing, I decided to try something different—and that’s how I ended up at the student association! Serving on the board fit perfectly into my academic schedule. So why not!

As the Education Commissioner, I’m responsible for all communication with the university, I make sure the bookstore and lecture notes are up to date, and I organize education-related activities—such as pub lectures, study sessions, faculty get-togethers, and tutorials. Most of the time, I’m in the boardroom catching up on my email. But if you have any questions about your study program or are having trouble with a course, I’m always here to help!
